SUMMARY
The Internet is the driving engine of the new economy and it has given
birth to Internet banking. It allows the banks to delegate tasks to the
customers. Thus, Internet banks are providing all traditional services
through the Internet. The purpose of this study is to gain a deeper
understanding on the role of websites in Internet banking. In order to find
out the research questions, Swedish and Chinese customers were selected as
samples for case studies. The findings and conclusions of this study
indicated that there are several factors that influence consumers on
Internet banking websites and various variables which enhances customers’
service in Internet banking.
