SAMMANFATTNING
In this paper we investigate the coded bit-error rate in an orthogonal
frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) system. The system uses a pilot-based
channel estimator and the effects of non-ideal channel knowledge and non-ideal
interleaving are analysed. The resulting coded bit-error rate is calculated
with an analytical method proposed by Cavers and Ho. This method avoids
time-consuming simulations, which is important when designing a communication
system. The theoretical results are compared with simulations and a good
agreement is achieved.
